Roofing consulting isn't a desk job. It's part inspector, part insurance translator, part trusted advisor. Here's a typical day on the TRG sales team.
What you'll do
- 7:30 AM — team huddle: review yesterday's signed contracts, today's appointments, weather and storm reports
- 8:30 AM — first roof inspection of the day, photos and measurements uploaded to JobNimbus
- 10:00 AM — present findings and scope to the homeowner with EagleView report and damage photos
- 11:30 AM — meet an insurance adjuster on a roof from last week's storm canvassing
- 1:00 PM — lunch and CRM time: send proposals, schedule follow-ups, supplement requests
- 2:30 PM — door-knock storm-affected neighborhood and book tomorrow's inspections
- 5:30 PM — sign a contract with last week's homeowner who got their claim approved
- 6:30 PM — wrap up, log activity, prep tomorrow's route
What we're looking for
- Comfortable with a 20–40-foot ladder
- Strong communicator with homeowners and adjusters
- Self-managed schedule — no one's babysitting your calendar
- Loves variable income tied to effort
Benefits & perks
- No two days the same
- Outside, on roofs, in neighborhoods — not in a cubicle
- Direct path from a great Tuesday to a $5,000 commission check
- Real impact: you help homeowners after the worst day of their year

Six months in you'll have a referral book. Twelve months in you'll be running ride-alongs for new reps. Eighteen months in you can move into Sales Manager or Commercial.
Our culture
It's a grind in the best way. The reps who love this role love that effort directly converts to outcome — and outcome to income.
