1. Overview

Texas Roof Guardians ("Texas Roof Guardians," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect personal information collected through our website https://txroofguardians.com, our forms, our phone and text messaging channels, and in-person or in-home interactions with our team.

2. Information We Collect

  • Contact information you submit — name, phone number, email address, mailing/property address.
  • Project information — details about your roof, the nature of the issue, insurance carrier and claim number when you provide it, photos, documents, and free-text messages you send us.
  • Payment information — processed by our payment providers (e.g., Stripe). We do not store full card numbers on our servers.
  • Employment / careers information — resumes and information submitted through job applications.
  • Communication records — records of calls, text messages, and email correspondence between you and us, including timestamps and consent status.
  • Automatically collected — device and browser information, IP address (hashed for form submissions), pages viewed, referring URLs, and UTM campaign parameters.

3. How We Use Information

  • To respond to inquiries and schedule inspections, quotes, and service visits;
  • To coordinate insurance claims and communicate with adjusters when you authorize it;
  • To provide, invoice, and support the roofing services you request;
  • To send transactional and service messages by email, phone, and — if you opt in — SMS;
  • To improve our website, services, and customer experience;
  • To detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, or security issues; and
  • To comply with legal obligations, including record-keeping for consent to be contacted.

4. Cookies & Similar Technologies

We use a small number of cookies and similar technologies to keep the site functioning (session state, preferences), to measure performance, and to understand how visitors use our pages. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect some site functionality.

5. Analytics

We may use analytics tools — including Google Analytics and, where installed, the Facebook (Meta) Pixel — to understand aggregate site usage and the effectiveness of our marketing. These tools may set cookies and collect IP address, device identifiers, and browsing activity on our site. Their use is governed by each provider's privacy policies.

6. Lead Forms, Phone Numbers & Email

When you submit a form on our website, you are asking us to contact you about your inquiry. We use the phone number and email you provide to respond by phone, email, and — if you opt in on the form — SMS. You may withdraw consent at any time by asking us to stop, replying STOP to any text message, or emailing info@txroofguardians.com.

7. Uploaded Photos & Insurance Claim Documents

Photos and documents you upload — including roof photos and insurance claim paperwork — are stored in our private, access-controlled cloud storage. Access is limited to Texas Roof Guardians staff and authorized service providers who need it to service your inquiry or project. We share these materials with your insurance carrier or their adjusters only when you have authorized us to do so.

8. Text Messaging and Mobile Information

Consent. You will only receive text messages from Texas Roof Guardians after providing affirmative consent — for example, by checking the SMS opt-in box on a form on our website, texting a keyword we provide, or giving verbal or written consent to a representative. Consent to receive text messages is never required to purchase any goods or services.

Message frequency. Message frequency varies based on your interactions with us and any active project.

Charges. Message and data rates may apply based on your mobile carrier's plan. Texas Roof Guardians does not charge you for text messages.

STOP / HELP. Reply STOP to any message to opt out. Reply HELPfor assistance, or email info@txroofguardians.com. Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

No sale or sharing of mobile opt-in data for marketing. Texas Roof Guardians does not sell, rent, transfer, assign, or share SMS consent or mobile opt-in information with any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All categories of data sharing described elsewhere in this Privacy Policy exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent — that information is never shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Service providers such as Twilio may process messages solely on our behalf to deliver the messaging service, subject to confidentiality and data-protection obligations.

Full program terms are available in our SMS Terms.

9. How We Share Information

Except as described in the SMS section above (which is subject to its own stricter rule), we share personal information only:

  • With service providers that operate our systems on our behalf — for example, hosting, database, email delivery, payment processing, CRM (JobNimbus), and analytics providers — bound by confidentiality obligations;
  • With insurance carriers, adjusters, and third parties involved in your roofing project when you authorize us to do so;
  • When required by law, subpoena, or to protect our rights, property, or safety, or the rights of others; and
  • In connection with a corporate transaction such as a merger or sale of assets, subject to this Privacy Policy.

We do not sell personal information. We do not share mobile opt-in data or SMS consent information for marketing or promotional purposes.

10. Storage, Retention & Security

Customer records, form submissions, communication history, and uploaded materials are stored in access-controlled cloud infrastructure operated by our providers. We retain records for as long as needed to service your project, meet legal and tax obligations (typically several years), and maintain proof of consent for communications. We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect the information we hold. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Who Has Access

Access to your information is limited to Texas Roof Guardians staff and authorized service providers with a business need — for example, sales, project management, accounting, and customer support. Access to admin systems is protected by authentication and role-based permissions.

12. Your Rights & Choices

  • Ask us to update or correct information we hold about you;
  • Ask us to stop calling, emailing, or texting you at any time;
  • Reply STOP to any SMS to opt out of the text messaging program;
  • Request a copy of the information we hold about you; and
  • Request deletion of your information, subject to legal or contractual retention requirements.

13. How to Request Deletion

Email info@txroofguardians.com with the subject line "Privacy Request" and include the name, phone number, and email address associated with your inquiry. We will respond within a reasonable time and confirm what has been deleted or retained (for example, transaction and warranty records we are required to keep).

14. Children's Privacy

Our services are directed to adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us and we will delete it.

15. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with a revised Effective Date. A change to this Privacy Policy will not convert previously collected mobile information or SMS consent into permission to share it with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
